Wow! I haven't updated this mess for about two and a half years. It's all Calculus's fault; anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I've decided to come back and pick up not exactly where I left off, but somewhere altogether better, or so I'd like to think.

This amazing new layout is courtesy of Devilish Phoenix Designs, and is especially incredible because it's exactly what I was looking for but never really expected to find.

Can you keep a secret?

Yeah. As usual, I have not updated in several months. Every time I look at one of my friend's MySpace or Facebook or whatnot pages I think about getting one, but I really don't know why, as I would doubtless just ignore it for months at a time the way I do this page. Eheu! (or alas, in Latin)

Sooo...honors ceremony tonight. I truly hate these things, especially when I was invited for no crappy reason at all and a certain someone previously mentioned gets all kinds of awards she doesn't deserve because she spends all her time sucking up and not actually doing any of the work she takes credit for. AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH! She never does any NHS work--"Oh, I had a piano lesson [that I couldn't POSSIBLY skip because I don't really want to help set up or do any of that horrible dirty work, because I think I'm better than you lesser beings who are really more suited for it anyway]." Siiiiiiiiigh. Well, hear this: you may have gotten more awards, but I'll be the first female Supreme Court chief justice! Mark my words!

Hmmmmm...good job to all of my friends who actually deserved their awards, including Amanda, Stephanie, Livia, Donna, Rikki, Melissa, Helen, and other people that I am most likely forgetting to name. Yeah, whatever.

Prom was last weekend, and needless to say, many people made some very bad decisions. I must say that I have lost a great deal of respect for certain people that I shall refrain from naming. This may sound kind of weird, but when I was looking in some of the pictures that had been taken of me, I felt like I was looking at a different person, someone who didn't look like me at all. I don't mean that in a good way (but not necessarily a bad way, either), like "OMG who is that H-O-T chica?", but in a "Who is that standing there?" kind of way. Strange.

I have probably ranted enough right about now. Also, I can't think of anything else to say, probably because I just have a bad memory. Oh yeah, there was one more thing I wanted to talk about briefly.

When people choose their MySpace/whatnot account names, how do they come up with them? Katie's new one is "coldvampire11" or something, I believe. Where did that come from? Maybe that's why she's so pale (just kidding, Katie dear). Har, har, har. Who would I be? Angrypinkzebra? Sneezingwerewolf? Corinnastonewall? This subject merits more consideration....I'll have to think about it....

Can you keep a secret?

You know what really, really bothers me? Well, there are a couple of things. I'm feeling kind of ticked right now, so I think I'll list them.

LIST OF THINGS THAT BOTHER ME:

1. The way people stay signed in to AOL Instant Messenger for ridiculously long amounts of time. Why would you leave your name signed on for multiple days? At this very moment, a person on my Buddy List whom I shall not name has been signed in for 3 days, 5 hours, and 24 minutes. There is no possible way that anyone could stay at his or her computer for that amount of time. Why would you leave your screen name signed on overnight? Even if someone sends you a message, you will most likely be asleep. Also, if you're at work or school, why would you leave your name signed on? You will not be there to receive any messages. If anyone does send you a message, it will only say something like, "Hi, guess you're not here, bye," which is a message that I guarantee you can live without receiving. AAAARRRGGGHHH!

2. Stupid people. Do I really need to go on about this? I probably do, but it would take an immense amount of room to get everything I feel about stupid people down in print. I'll get back to this one later.

3. People who are obsessed with their boyfriends. If one more person says that she cannot live without her boyfriend, I am going to seize her and shake her silly. Of COURSE you can live without your boyfriend! You were evidently living before he came into the picture! You need to learn to rely on more friends/family than just the boyfriend, because once you break up, he's out of the picture. What will you do then? Jump off a cliff? Some girls just drop their friends like hot irons when Mr. Cutey-Poo comes along, then run crying back to them expecting comfort and support when he ditches her.

4. People who skip on test days. We had a major test on both 1984 and Brave New World today in AP Language, and several people just decided not to show up. Anna skipped the whole day and Katie left after 3rd period...hmm, not suspicious at all! That really pisses me off, the way these people think the rules don't apply to them.

5. Suck ups, a la EG. I cannot stand her. She is so annoying. She has the brownest nose I have seen in my entire life. She spends all her time sucking up to the teachers while everyone else does the work that she takes credit for. I hope she fails all her classes, gets caught cheating, and gets suspended. Mwahahahaha...

Well, I suppose I feel a little bit better now. There are in truth a great many more things that bother me, but I shall refrain from mentioning them at this time. Any other news? Walk-out today for Bruce...hmmm...made the lacrosse team...guess that's it. Thanks for letting me rant. ^___^

Urgh...am very tired. I went shopping with Kristen today for prom dresses. My feet hurt. We went to Town Center, CC's of Rome, and David's Bridal. There was one in the last store that was very nice, but I don't want to make my parents pay for another dress. I said I wanted to wear my one from last year, but I know it won't fit. I've gained waaaay too much weight since then. Sigh.

It's nice hanging out with Kristen, and for more than one reason. Aside from the fact that she's funny and fun, I don't have to feel too body conscious when I'm around her because she's not a stick but still likes to shop, unlike Amanda. I had a good time today, so I hope she did too.

I have an interview with some Duke alumna tomorrow at Starbucks. Sigh. I really don't want to go.

Can you keep a secret?

I just spent the last three or so hours changing this ugly old waste of space into a beautifully updated blog. I'm still in shock that I found exactly the layout I wanted. Yay Devilish Phoenix Designs! You rock! I'm really tired now, though, so I think I'm going to do something else now. Remember: tomorrow will be a better day!

Wow...I haven't updated since February. Sorry, YY. I've been way busy, though. I need to get back into blogging. I'm fixing my layout and title, as you may see. I need to tell YY (which is what I've started calling Kokaze, btw) to come and see my blog more often. I'm sure she's stopped visiting it since I've been on hiatus. That was a vocab word...

Anyway, American Idol has long been over. Ruben won. GO RUBEN YAAAAY! How fun. This isn't a long entry, I'm way tired. I'll add more soon, though.

Okay, one funny thing: In Father of the Bride, the father (Steve Martin) is in the grocery store. He's opening packages of hot dog buns and taking out some of the buns. Some clerk comes up and asks him what he's doing, and he's like "They sell hot dogs in packages of 8, and buns in packages of 10. I don't need 10 buns, so I am removing the surfluous buns." And the clerk is like, "Sir, you can't do that!" And he's like, "Yeah, and you wanna know why? Because some big shot at the bun company got together with some big shot at the weiner company, and they decided to rip off the American public, because they think the American public is a bunch of self-belittling nitwits. Well, they're not ripping off this nitwit anymore! George Banks is saying NO!" And the clerk goes, "Who's George Banks?!" And the dad's like, "ME!" It was really funny...yeah...

Oh my gosh! I'm updating! *Has heart attack* I needed to blog...have needed to for quite some time. Sorry, YY Dear. Anyway, I have been busy with this new semester and a form of torture new to me, that which is known as "track and field." I am officially the slowest person on the team. It was raining today, but did that stop Coach Monk? *laughs* No! Of COURSE not! We can run in the POURING, FREEZING RAIN! Then she yells at us for getting sick. Hmmmm...

Have been watching American Idol. I like the Julia contestant and the Kimberly (former Frenchie partner) girl. And the marine. And Simon. I really like him, because he tells it like it is (in most cases, mind you). I don't really like Paula, because she only reiterates what the others say, and says she likes everyone.

Oh! Have finished latest volume of Wish, due to the kindness of the wonderful and intelligent and beautiful Amanda. *Amanda bows* Turns out it's only a four-parter, meaning the series is done, with a semi-happy ending. YY insists that Kohaku was supposed to be a guy, which is probably true because Kohaku is a guy in Inu-Yasha. I don't really like the ending...I liked the original guy better, not his reincarnation. Also, Kokoyu, the extremely hot devil guy, eloped with some loser angel. *Pouts*

Ah yes, before I go, my funny thing of the entry. I was watching X-Men the other day, and Professor X was naming all the mutants (Storm, Cyclops, etc.), and Wolverine goes, "Whadda they call you, 'Wheels'?" Heh heh, that was great...

Tra la la la la, la la la la...I just wanted to pop in to say that I had a terrible day. Meanie Kokaze forgot my Garu picture, so I'm not linking her name right there. Poo on you. But I'm sure you're still going to tell me how to upload things on Earthlink, aren't you? I thought so.

Anyway...funny thing...need a funny thing...ah yes! In this one episode of Tenchi Universe, Ryoko returns to the ship and is like, "TENCHI! I LOVE YOU I MISSED YOU!" (or something), then turns to Ayeka and goes, "Ayeka. Bring me tea." That was great...oh yeah...

Can you keep a secret?

I spent three hours online tonight with the sole purpose of putting a picture of Haldir on this page and making the background this cool design, but the only thing I accomplished was to make the background blue. Woo hoo. Go me. Party at my house.

Tia and I are going to New Zealand...I can't wait! Anyway, my right hand is really cold. I'm tired. Maybe I should go to bed. I just remembered this really funny part from Ice Age. They're in the ice cave, and Sid is talking to Slumpy (the little kid they're returning) about the pictures on the wall. He goes something like "Don't worry, the tiger's just playing tag with the antelope...with its teeth," and Diego comes up to Sid and is like "Hey Sid, let's play tag."

I hearby resolve to write one funny thing a day in my blog! Oh yeah. Go me. I'm definitely going to bed now.

Can you keep a secret?

I am still depressed about the death of my beloved Haldir in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers movie, although I have seen it three times and it has been about two weeks since I last saw it. Haldir's death, although unfortunate and greatly saddening, brought me to ask this question: why do bad things always happen to my favorite characters? It's the truth: my favorite characters always die, get taken off the show/movie, have practically NO part, or etc. (Use the negative side of your imagination.) You want some examples? Okay, here we go.

+Draco I do not mean the dude from Harry Potter. I'm talking Dragonheart, people. The dragon, a.k.a. Draco, was totally the coolest character. So guess what happens to him? Bingo! He kicks the bucket! *Sigh*

+Mercutio Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet was not only the best character, but the only tolerable character (hey...you think that's why he's the best?). He's actually funny, loyal, and brave! So what happens to him? Let's think about this...he dies too!

+Sai *Sob* My poor Sai...as Sai is dead when Hikaru No Go starts,, I suppose I can't really say he dies, but something bad does happen to him: he disappears! Jeez! Why couldn't Akira disappear? I'd even sacrifice Hikaru for Sai! But noooo...

Enough of that for now. I must act like a tree and "leaf." Get it? Leaf=leave? Ha ha ha ha! *Falls over laughing* I crack myself up...

Can you keep a secret?

Yeah! New blog! More time to waste on the internet while neglecting my other websites! Party at my house!

Yeah...uh...first of all, thanks to Kokaze for this lovely username. To Kokaze: I'm sure that...um...one day...you'll find someone else who...well...

Kokaze (appearing out of nowhere): I've already found him, you frosh! ...And his name is Kamui *heart eyes, drifts into the background as daydreams about Kamui*

On a lighter note, I love Gareas Elidd. He is mine. I love him, he loves me. AND THERE'S NOTHING ERNEST CAN DO TO STOP THAT! HE'S DEAD, OKAY!? DEAD AS A DOORNAIL! AND HE'S NOT COMING BACK!!

You know what's really annoying? People coming up to you and talking about the weather. You already know what they're going to say! If someone comes up to me and says, "It's raining," I'll punch him/her in the face. I feel that it is as pointless to talk about the weather as it is to force students to participate in some dumb "Laws of Life" contest that they don't want to enter because this is America, isn't it, and it's a free country, although technically we're minors so we don't really grasp all of our rights yet, which is a really annoying thing if you ask me. *breathes*

I think that's probably enough for my first entry...
